Star is a newly launched Tamil-language romantic drama movie that was released on 10 May 2024, the film was written and directed by Elan, produced by B. V. S. N. Prasad and Sreenidhi Sagar, under the banner of Rise East Entertainment and Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra. The film’s cinematography was done by Ezhil Arasu K. and the film was edited by Pradeep E. Ragav.

Yuvan Shankar Raja handled the music of the film. Kavin is the main character of the Star film, he is widely known for his romantic films in the Tamil film industry, some of his past works are “Dada” in 2023 and “Lift” in 2021.
